Once one penetrate into the opposition's home territory (your maginal ground, his dispersive ground), his armies should press on until all "advantageous" grounds are occupied,

This strategic action would force the opposition to surrender.

You do not stop when in the enemy's territory for two reasons. The first being that a hostile populace will slowly slice what forces you have to ribbons with guerilla tactics. And another is that if you stop before all of the advantageous ground is captured, then your opponent will fortify all of the advantageous ground left.

When the Strategist-General and his offensive army starts a mission, he must follow-through with by going through the marginal ground, control the encircled area and placed the enemy into "deady ground".

In combat, the Supreme Strategist General focuses on his ABC-Always Be Closing .

Sun Tzu said, "On marginal ground, do not stop."

The general knows that when the army enters a short distance into the opposition’s territory, the army still thinks that they are within “walking” distance to their homes. Once an offensive starts it should drive through the opposition’s territory to a point where the closest distance home is through the opposition’s capital.

Default WalMart

Seems lik a very hostile action. I wonder what Wal Marts take would be on this quote. When they move into a town typically this is the MO. Take all the advantageous ground and create a vacum that only they can satisfy.

AOW logic seems to be more akin to "when fighting fight the best and when not fighting rest"

When the initial stages of a campaign seem effortless, we must not assume that we can then fraternize. We must keep to the plan and aggressively move forward to our objective. Our enemy may be planning an ambush.

Before moving to marginal (Frontier) ground,
-Prepared, store, push up all back supply to be use.
-Give clear instruction and intention, goals and motivation.
-Plan out the path, road or actions to be taken

When attacking on marginal ground (Frontier) ground.
-Strike like lighting as preplanned.
-Be as unpredictable like the sky.
-Established constant Communication
-use coded, encrypted cmmunication if nessearily
-Secure supply route
-Keep forces closely linked
-Do not stop in this ground. Kept on moving.

Whatever we do for the first time, projects, hobbies, relationship or such are all categorized under marginal ground.

-Without any resources, we cannot push forward.

-Without clear instruction, intention, goals, the plans may fall apart.

-Without any planing before hand, we will strike like tortoise.

-When we strike like tortoise, the army will be prepared mentally
and physically and you will fail.

-Without the capability of unpredictable, our attacks will fail and
we will forever be at frontier ground.

-without constant communication, this whole project of moving forward will fail. Instruction will fail, requirement of supply will not be delieved, troops will not be able to carried out your orders.

-A strike on the supply route is a strike on your escape route.

Another thing that I want to add on,
Be as unpredictable like the sky. is that, most of the time when we are unpredictable, it means that we are creative.

That is the true meaning behind what I said.
When you are creative, you think of all sort of wild idea that your enemies may not even heard of.

For example, if you need to establish communication with your fellow team mates and is unable to do so...what do you do beside to think of a way to do that. Most of the time, the results are one of those creative idea that you think out of.

Therefore, the meaning of unpredictable ( creative ) towards your enemies ( obstacle ) would be creative ideas to move around obstacles.

Only by creative thinking will you be unpredictable.

war is about energy, force, intelligence, the skillfull general understands that ground effects the energy of the army on marginal ground energy is weak, push on to deadly ground where one man becomes 10,in this case a small army if it has the "way" can defeat a greater army,as seen by the spanards taking the aztecs, the general burned his boats and left his army with no choice, this mixed with wise leadership is a deadly combination.

When you make some gains, that's great...but there is so much more to be done. If you allow yourself to stop, in addition to the dangers of counter attacks, you become satisfied with an incomplete victory which causes constant conflicts and often defeat.

Another thing is that you want to be as far from dispersive ground as possible because if you are forced to retreat, you don't want to be driven back to your home territory.

Another thing is that the farther you are from home, the more danger is apparent which is an important factor to the Way and causes unity among your troops.
