Yowzers! It's here!

You have no idea how happy I was when I read that - even Thomas Cleary has contributed!

You've made my morning, Sonshi. I'm pre-ordering this baby.

Dr. Thomas Cleary wrote a thing of beauty, too. Not some short blurb, but 8 pages worth of concentrated wisdom. I know you'll be very pleased.

And what I can say about Marc Benioff? He wrote 6 pages of his personal account of how The Art of War helped him in his career. Anybody who reads it will take away several valuable life lessons.

Thank you for buying the book and for your support, Realist.

By the way, if any of you have questions about the book, post them here. We'll be sure to answer them.

Sonshi,

Whoooowaaahhh! I never knew for certain you were working on this, but if you remember I did ask about a book form of the "daily" a few years ago. It makes perfect sense to put this out.

Now, why the HELL are we having to wait? Is that out of your control Sonshi or some kind of crule, sinister joke (magnifying glass on the ant comes to mind)? I expect an answer!

If you pre-order, you will receive the book in late March, early April at the latest.

No, nothing sinister about the later date. We recently completed the manuscript and it is at the printers now.

Default So far, So great!

Hi,

I just got the book at Barnes and Noble...

The Preface by Thomas Cleary is fantastic. That guy ought to open a church. I'd be first in line. He should be made Secretary of State or Ambassador to the U.N. when Obama gets into the White House. The guy just gets it!

I'll add more later when I Finnish the book. So far, So great!

Thanks again, Atreide§

One of the many cool things we did for this book was to work with Rabbi Rami Shapiro and Professor Ron Miller when trying to confirm the biblical verses we melded with the principles of Sun Tzu's The Art of War. Rabbi Rami Shapiro was especially helpful in suggesting verses from the Hebrew Bible which we were less familiar with. If you see them in our book, they were his suggestions!

It's amazing how universal truths naturally link together between seemingly unrelated texts, especially considering you have vastly different cultures yet they all share the same wisdom. Therefore, if you think Sun Tzu's The Art of War is confined to only ancient China, the military, or even Asian culture, that is not the case at all. The book has proven for over 2500 years that it can be applied across any and all time and place. And that would include many situations in our own lives, right now. So thank you Rabbi Rami Shapiro and Professor Ron Miller for your assistance with this book!
