Chat?

Has the subject of perhaps a chat module here or something come up? Like IRC or something? Might be fun to have some live discussions or meetings of all the Sonshi denizens

I think that'd be a good idea, Hokum. Especially if it's held on IRC. If its held on DALnet, perhaps I can help in some way because I hold both the channels "Sonshi" and "Sonshi.com".

I have quite a bit of past experience with IRC and if the mods here are interested in setting up a channel perhaps I could be of assistant.

I like that idea very much.

But if Sonshi doesn't want to do it because of the sites spirit and/or goals (which I think might be the very case), perhaps an Xternal option might be optional, if a sonshi-user might sacrifies his time for it, ... and sonshi just promoting and/or linking to it?

What do you say on this chat-option sonshi??

By the way, limiting it to registered users might ease out a lot of initial problem for sure.

Chat is fun.... You might do things like, put a certain subject on the agenda on a theme for discussion at a predetermined date. Such an option would attrack more chatters.

Though the chat will limit accurate respond on the pure text as you'll have to limit the text typed. No use typing in hunderds of characters in chat, because nobody will be able to read it all. But then again you'll just have to sharpen your knowledge to be able to respond with lesser text. Fun.
